Eroticon 2017: sex bloggers, writers, sponsors
If it weren’t for Eroticon, I wouldn’t be a sex blogger. At least, I wouldn’t be a sex blogger who made any money. Since 2014 Eroticon – the annual conference sex bloggers and erotic writers – has been the highlight of my year.
When the lovely Ruby Kiddell announced she was stepping down, a few of us got together to see if we could take over. Now we’re doing exactly that. ‘We’ being:

Guest blog: Sex and grief
This week’s guest blogger – @19syllables – is best known for writing gorgeous haikus over on Twitter, and I think I first came across her long form writing with a beautiful piece about sex and anticipation and unrequited lust in SexBlogOfSorts’ writing competition. Her guest blog this week tackles something powerful and intense and moving – sex and grief.
When I read it, I cried. And I don’t really have the words to express how touched I am that she’s decided to share it here.

I think about it all the time: fucking strangers. My journeys into town, out of town, down to the shops to pick up milk: they’re all peppered with deeply personalised erotic fiction – flash-frame fucks starring people I pass on the way.

When you’re here all the time, I forget who I am on my own. I paint a picture of myself that includes you and it messes around with the truer picture of what I’m actually like.
