Advertising
Girl on the Net displays adverts to all users, but the ad server is not a third-party one: it is run by Girl on the Net. It collects some basic information for the purposes of telling advertisers how many clicks they got. The only data shared with advertisers will be general, anonymised data: number of users, broad geographic location (i.e. country) etc. Any other data comes from Google analytics.
Email and Online Forms
Readers who choose to subscribe to the newsletter, leave a comment, or enter a competition may be asked to supply personal data. If permission is granted, this information may be used to contact specific users with alerts or emails that they have requested, or for the purpose of administering competitions (i.e. sending prizes).

The WordPress software records the IP address of your device when you comment, but that IP address is never published and will be removed from the system if you request to have all of your data removed.
